Talk Don t Back crazy

Oh, I waited forever in great anticipation for this book! Bardsley’s first novel of the Broken Heart, Ok series was fantastic! It was so fresh & unexpected even for someone who reads a lot of this genre. And as much as I looked forward to this second installment I felt let down. The storyline was good, the characters were good to decent. But there were two areas I was disappointed in that took the sizzle from the story.

Lorcan never seems to grow as a character. I still feel I don’t really know anything more about him than I did in the first book. Patrick was so enigmatic and hot that his brother comes of as a palid, cold let down. Maybe this is why issue two came into play: no spark between Lorcan, our hero, and Eva the heroine. This is a cardinal sin for a romance book. I just didn’t really feel anything between them.

It starts off with Lorcan hurting himself somehow and Eva toting him into her bed just before sunrise. That’s asking a lot considering Lorcan killed her just a few months ago. Instead of anything steamy he leaves her a rose and goes on his way. Lorcan helps her out of a situation involving some Lycans the next evening but again no sparks. Infact for most of the book the two aren’t together and Eva is sick, which can be an emotional jerker but is hardly conducive to the toe curling sultriness of Patrick & Jess’s romance. Maybe we were spoiled too much with the first book, this one just couldn’t compete.

Absolutely loved the cover art though, right down to the little bats painted on her fingernails!

Raglan T #Tebow Toddler lies

I’ve only had the product for a couple days…but it does what it says it will…

It’s just a cable so there isn’t too much to write about, but the price might scare you into thinking it’s poorly made. Seems to be made well. Great value. Shipping took 6 days which was in the 4-7day window. Would recommend

About CallVantage Service AT T

If you have a reliable high-speed internet connection, this is a must-have service. I’ve had this for just over two months and have been told several times from people on the other end of the call that the audio quality is clearer than any landline connection. Unlimited calling paired with every imaginable feature makes this a must-have service. The “Locate Me” feature allows you to give out one phone number which will ring up to 5 – yes FIVE – different numbers at once — for example, your home phone, cellphone, office phone, parent’s house, whatever – all at once, and you can accept the call at any one of them by just saying “hello” and then pressing 1 on the phone when the automated voice says “AT&T…” Aside from all the advanced features and so forth, the service is INDESTINGUISHABLE from a regular phone line. You plug in your regular phone, just to the VoIP adapter instead of the regular jack in the wall. The adapter provides a dial tone which sounds exactly like the one provided by your local phone central office. All calling and receiving of calls works EXACTLY like any landline phone, so if you don’t tell anyone the phone is actually using a VoIP service, they wouldn’t know the difference. Overall you can’t beat this deal. There’s very little in the way of competition so far, the only notable exception being Vonage who may have slightly lower prices but when you use their service, people KNOW you’re on an internet phone. When you use CallVantage, on the other hand, your call is routed via the net directly to a nearby AT&T Central Office that immediately patches you in to the Public Switched Telephone Network. The difference is night and day.

One caveat: the current first generation phone adapter being used by AT&T for CallVantage MUST sit immediately behind your cable or DSL modem and NOT behind any router or other device. This would not be a problem in and of itself, except that if you have a home computer network (LAN) you will not be able to

Think of Heather Shirt Mens T ?

With all that has been said, I thought I would add that I am impressed just how much Garmin packed into this device, even though it has aged and must be near the end of its scheduled production lifetime.

Technology often gets in your way, but Garmin has made this device simple and practical to use. I mostly use it for running and biking, and for both sports, it has never gotten in the way. I have not tried it for skiing, but I will next skiing season.

Of all the great features, the heart rate monitor is very important for training, and the ‘Training’ modes and ‘virtual partner’ would be useful for more professional athletes.

For biking, the quick mount is sturdy, and the watch has not popped out. The LCD is clearly visible in daylight, and the highly user configurable display options are nice to track real-time and average stats. You can easily switch between display modes with the up/down buttons.

I was concerned about its ability to track heart rate, and so far it has been quite accurate. In some cases, the heart rate monitor has over-estimated the actual heart rate and gave readings in the 200 bpm range. In those cases, I have readjusted the HRM strap slightly, and then it began to track accurately again.

Another concern was the elevation accuracy. It is not accurate with altitude for various technical reasons, but so far it has not been embarrassingly wrong in deep mountain valleys, where I thought it might completely lose it. So it is OK to use for long, undulating, mountainous bike rides.

One note — this device can start to track satellites if it is turned on indoors, so if you are not in a ’steel jungle’ you can turn it on before you start your workout, and it will be ready in time (usually only 1 minute anyways.)

This device makes it easy to track my cardio progress and performance over a long period of time in a variety of sports, and for that I give it 5 stars.

My house has two Kindles (Version 2) (One US, one Global). We also have a 3g iPad, iPhones, Macs and Windows computers..

I use my Kindle content on all of them. I run the kindle application on my mac to read tech books, I run it on my windows PC for the same reason, I run it on my iPhone for when I’m in an absolute pinch and just want to read something real quick.. and I use it on my Kindle when I want to read for long periods of time without eye strain and without battery drain. (Airplanes, public transit, before bed, on vacation). I also use it on my iPad when I just want to read a few pages.

If you’re an iPad user and not a kindle hardware user, I’m sure you’ll appreciate the fact that the iPad book store has almost no selection today. Notice they don’t sell a single tech book either?

This isn’t a kindle vs iPad post, as I like both devices for different purposes.. but if you’re a reading purest, or need something that you can read hundreds of pages on and still have most of your battery left.. Kindle is great. I can read my kindle from Los Angeles to Tokyo, stay for 2 weeks, and come home.. and still have battery left. Not to mention it’s as friendly on the eyes as any normal book.

If you’re only interested in reading, the fact that you can download books anywhere for free (On the bus, at the airport, etc.. anywhere with cell connectivity) is nice.. It’s a minor annoyance on the iPad that you’d have to find wifi or pay for 3g service.. If you’re always at home, or some place with free Wi-Fi, not a big deal. Even our local airport doesn’t have free Wi-Fi (and their pay wi-fi is horribly slow). I live in a pretty tech city, and we don’t have wi-fi on the bus, in transit tunnels, or anywhere else really except coffee shops.

I’d buy my Kindle again.. I’d buy my iPad again.. and I’d install the Kindle book store app on every PC.. again.. :)
