I purchased this to replace a non-digital scale. With my old scale, all it took was leaning a certain way and I could change the weight displayed. With this EatSmart Scale, that is not an issue. Very accurate and will display same weight repeatedly.

The scale is not bulky and looks stylish. The price is perfect and affordable for an accurate digital scale (that doesnt look like your grandma’s scale.)

Definitely recommend this scale.

this is not my first time using one of these for my GPS, about 4 years ago I got one for an older Garmin C330, it worked OK but it was not very stable especially on the dashboard. This one is much better and it seems to stick better on the dashboards in both our vehicles. Our car was broken into and the radio was stolen so we are trying to minimize any displays that encourage thieves to hit us again. This was a good solution since we can stow away after usage. good product.

My house has two Kindles (Version 2) (One US, one Global). We also have a 3g iPad, iPhones, Macs and Windows computers..

I use my Kindle content on all of them. I run the kindle application on my mac to read tech books, I run it on my windows PC for the same reason, I run it on my iPhone for when I’m in an absolute pinch and just want to read something real quick.. and I use it on my Kindle when I want to read for long periods of time without eye strain and without battery drain. (Airplanes, public transit, before bed, on vacation). I also use it on my iPad when I just want to read a few pages.

If you’re an iPad user and not a kindle hardware user, I’m sure you’ll appreciate the fact that the iPad book store has almost no selection today. Notice they don’t sell a single tech book either?

This isn’t a kindle vs iPad post, as I like both devices for different purposes.. but if you’re a reading purest, or need something that you can read hundreds of pages on and still have most of your battery left.. Kindle is great. I can read my kindle from Los Angeles to Tokyo, stay for 2 weeks, and come home.. and still have battery left. Not to mention it’s as friendly on the eyes as any normal book.

If you’re only interested in reading, the fact that you can download books anywhere for free (On the bus, at the airport, etc.. anywhere with cell connectivity) is nice.. It’s a minor annoyance on the iPad that you’d have to find wifi or pay for 3g service.. If you’re always at home, or some place with free Wi-Fi, not a big deal. Even our local airport doesn’t have free Wi-Fi (and their pay wi-fi is horribly slow). I live in a pretty tech city, and we don’t have wi-fi on the bus, in transit tunnels, or anywhere else really except coffee shops.

I’d buy my Kindle again.. I’d buy my iPad again.. and I’d install the Kindle book store app on every PC.. again..

I use this watch when I go kayaking to measure how far I have gone. It’s a little bulkier than the Garmin 405 but is also $200 cheaper. I like that the main screens are customizable. The picture shows three items on the screen but you can actually have a max of four items on the screen. You can also change which fields it shows to fit your needs. You can cycle through each screen by using the arrow keys and can see your route on the map by pressing the menu key. It also comes with a wireless heart rate monitor that connects automatically to the watch. If you are a real man, i.e. have a hairy chest, the heart rate monitor is a bit uncomfortable as it tends to pull at the hair. My biggest problem is that I forget to stop my lap and the car ride home messes up my data…but that is not the watches fault!

This item works great but it is very large. Make sure it will fit on your dash before you order. If it fits it works great. If not, not so much. Amazon should put the size on the web page. Its about 8″ across.

Best pedometer I have used. Reliability is excellent. The clock is accurate and allows steps to be tracked by day. Daily activity memory is seven days. Multiple modes allow for tracking by different lengths of measurement. Battery lasts about a year.

Salinger died, my 92-year-old mother expressed interest in reading The Catcher in the Rye, so I ordered a used copy of the book The Catcher in the Rye through Amazon.com and had it sent to her.
