The Cavalry 1TB drive has been a great addition to my system. Used for mostly video recording, editing and DVD authoring, the Firewire 800 interface is the most used connection for me. The drive also has Firewire 400, and USB 2.0 connections … I’ve found this to be helpful for chaining together older drives. It is durable, and has proven to be reliable thus far, after 8 months of continuous use.

I’ve used this SD card for several weeks now and it’s worked as advertised. The card has been used primarily in an HD video camera recording in 1080p, so it was important for it to have a fast transfer rate. I haven’t had any issues with the card. It’s been very reliable!

The 2nd generation Kindle was unable to receive books via 3G due to the location of our home. 4 days after receiving the 2nd generation Kindle, Amazon introduced the 3rd generation Kindle which can receive books via WiFi. This will allow me to download books directly without utilizing my PC. I returned the 2nd generation Kindle without a problem and now I am awaiting the 3rd generation Kindle.
