Networks Associative Neural Implementing chance
This book should be titled “Conversations with Satan”, because that is who this sadly misguided author was listening to. If you really want to know about God read HIS book, it’s called the “Holy Bible” and not a book from someone who is just out to make a quick buck off of people desperate to hear the truth as long as it fits into what they want to believe. People don’t want to be held accountable, they want to believe that everything is all right and it’s someone else’s fault. This is not what God teaches. I challenge you to get into His word if you want the honest truth.

This series was one that was always on my recommended list and for ages I set it to the side and read on with other authors, content that I wasn’t missing much. After seeing it for sale for a few dollars in a bargain bin at the book store I picked it up thinking that even for a few dollars it can’t be that bad. I regret now that I didn’t pick this series up as soon as it came out! The wit and humor of this story and its fellow’s blew me away and becoming close to the characters is unavoidable. Mr. Colfer creates a world full of mystery, intrigue, danger, excitement, humor, love and companionship. I would have paid much, much more for this book had I known what I was missing. I highly advise anyone looking for a great read and a wonderful story to pick up this series and make time to read it cause you won’t be able to put it down.

I could not have loved it more. Water for Elephants is one of those wonderful novels that has an interesting setting, but it doesn’t let the setting take over the story. It is a novel about the people in that place, and the people of Benzini’s circus took over my mind and stay with me still.
Jacob begins Water for Elephants alone. Orphaned by his immigrant parents, he is weeks away from his Cornell graduation, but he simply cannot return to the life he has known. He jumps aboard a moving train-the train carrying the Benzini circus to its next production. No one on the circus cares that Jacob didn’t finish his final exams. The diploma, he is told, “is just a piece of paper, and nobody here gives a damn about that. You’re on a show now. The rules are different.”
In fact, the circus seems to have no rules at all. Jacob somehow finds other kind souls among the misfits, and these people work together to protect themselves and the animals. The villians-Uncle Al and August-are well described and three-dimensional. You understand why they behave the way they do. These villians are not cookie-cutter images, and their real-world sensibilities make them even more frightening.

Area Storage Networks Designing for good
This is a very well written book from someone who knows the subject well and who has had a lot of first hand experience with customer needs and real life applications. This is the real world. The subject is vast and complex, but the author brings across the important information that you need to know. I have tried to delve through fibre channel drafts and standards. They are for the most part not readable to outsiders such as myself. The only problem with any literature on fibre channel is that the industry is evolving so quickly. I am starved for information on the latest developments. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in fibre channel and at the same time would recommend staying away from books that are pre-1999. There is just too much that has happened lately.

Why Networks SM801PST Transition MIL
I had a 3 ft cable which is not long enough to move my mac so I bought this 6 ft HDMI cable to connect my Macbook (with miniDP to HDMI adapter) to Samsung 32″ LN32A550 HDTV TV.
Nice HDMI cable delivers the video quality as in mac.
If no input is connected I get a hissing sound from TV ( if I select the source as HDMI2 where this is connected) .. it may be from no input / from the adapter / from earth signal….
Its not a big problem as my TV pushes the inputs with no source down in Source List.
Overall I would buy this next time / recommend it to my friends

Anyone who wants to learn about the usage of WiFi, more commonly known as 802.11b wireless should order this book now and read it immediately upon delivery!
Each and every chapter explains is sufficient detail what the new standard is, how to use it and extend the range legally for broadcasts. Anytime someone points out through the purchase of a can of Pringles and then turns that chip container into a radio antenna…to increase the effective range of WiFi, is a signal (pun intended) that value pricing is just a few steps away.
Rob demonstrates his mastery of the following topics, the understanding of topological maps, db signal loss over distance, firewalls, NAT, and routing as they pertain to WiFi. For those readers who just want to hook up a wireless 802.11b router and configure their network, this book covers that very well.
The book’s scope covers the Apple AirPort Base Station and also Linux networks. Also the need for channel separation and bridging of networks for roaming purposes is described.
Then there is the section on the types of external antennas and how to build one from the earlier mentioned Pringles can.
Obviously, wireless brings a whole new set of questions to the security aspect of wireless networks. Rob explains some techniques that should help and provides urls to other community efforts to help find additional resources and support. See NoCat…as an example of the latter.
Appendix
This part of the book includes a section on calculating the loss of signal strength over distances from 0.5 to 20.0 miles! Also provides links to community wireless sites and FCC Part 15 Rules governing the spectrum that 802.11b occupies.

Complete and adequate.

Building Wireless Community NetworksNetworks A Story Tell problem!
A great read from Amazon’s used book rack Water for Elephants: A Novelthat had me hooked from Chapter 1. Ms Gruen nails the times and personages that inhabit her novel dead on. …and the twists and turns are very enjoyable as well. I could personally relate to the circus atmosphere in the depression 30’s as those were the carnies that visited my home town in northern New Jersey.
