I enjoyed this book, but I thought it was light on plot and character development. I purchased it based on the numerous 5-star ratings that it received from Amazon readers. I expected it to be more – did not dislike it, but wouldn’t recommend it to reader’s who want more from a book.
Zefal Mini Multi Sort

At first, I bought a baby gate for my puppy but it’s a hassle walking over it. I decided to buy this one even if it costs over $20 more. I’m glad that I bought this since its easier to walk over. It even has a cute little doggy door that we use all the time. The only problem is for right now she can slip through the sides so we have to put something there to block it so she can’t go through. It’s only a temporary problem though since she’s still growing.

A friend recommended this book for me. I got the sample yesterday morning for my kindle and bought the remainder soon after and finished it today. What a great book. So refreshing.

To the point:

Pros:
Excellent at picking up dog hair from bare floors, rugs.
Not too heavy, very maneuverable, easy to carry around and to store
Excellent price

Cons:
Air blows out of left side and makes you work a little harder in hallways and near walls
Hose mode not very easy to use, some tools fall out of their storage place
Changing bags is a bit tricky
Does not go under furniture (problematic because hose and wand feature is not easy to use)

Overall it is a good product. Problems are not difficult to overcome. If cord is short or I want to minimize plugins I use 16 foot extension cord. For under furniture that cannot be moved easily, I use the Hoover brand small cannister type vac that I bought 27 years ago. Hoover is a good brand.

Mini Neoprene Sleeve Case

I took an instant dislike to the title character, and the more I read, the less I liked him. It is easy to see the appeal to a certain age group: the kid is smart, he has resources, and he has his own private goon squad to sic on anyone who displeases him. The author has created a sociopathic little monster with the moral compass of a pit viper. Great role model for the younger set! Every once in a while, the author tries to insert something to make us like Artemis better. He loves his mommy – so have most of the serial killers in real life. Now and then he questions (sort of) what he is doing, then he goes ahead and does it anyways. His victims in the first book are the fairies, and I give the author credit for a nice take on the little people – I was rooting for them all the way. If it hadn’t been for this imaginative portrayal, I would have been looking for a way to give this book a negative star rating. The story is well written, which makes the subject matter even more appalling. I will not be purchasing any more books in the series.

This would be easy for Artemis, considering that he is a kid prodigy. But this small kidnap will turn into a war.
This funny book for all ages will get you thinking. You will not know whose side to take because Eoin makes you feel like one of the fairy officers or one of Artemis’ butlers in every chapter. Will Artemis win? Or will the fairies wipe them out of existence?

The book arrived in very good condition for the price I paid. It’s a great book that we used for our book club last month. Easy enough for all levels to read but intriguing enough to be discussed!

The HP Mini is an excellent choice. Very very portable. The keys are about the same as a standard laptop, so that you can actually type on it. Despite the size, it’s rather robust.

I considered the Acer line when shopping around, but chose the HP because because of the anti-reflective screen. The Acers have an almost mirror like finish, that when used outdoors or in a car, causes an unbearable glare, making it all but impossible to use.

I also went for the 3-cell battery that was much more compact than the 6-cell – this was because runtime was not the most important thing to me, but I still get about 3 plus hours on a full charge with the 3-cell.

Things to bear in mind – you don’t get a built it CD/DVD (although you can add an external USB drive) , the screen is smaller than a traditional laptop, but you can plug a large screen into the build in VGA port. I use a 22 inch widescreen with it at home and the resolution was very good.

The built in webcam is very handy. However, the unit does not come with bluetooth, so I added a Nexxt Bluetooth nano (very small device that you can leave in when putting you mini in a case.

I also added a wireless keyboard and mouse whenever it is used at home.

One tip – make sure you use the backup software that come with the unit to make a backup of the system. This should be done asap, and perhaps repeated as you add software and apply patches/updates.

I used to dread taking a laptop when traveling, especially on vacation, so my iPhone was the means to book hotels etc. Now…thanks to the HP Mini and WiFi, I have a functional portable computer, without the bulk.

The LEDs on the side and front of the unit are functional and looks good too. There is an ethernet port if you want wired network connectivity, and SD slot and audio out/mic connectors.

Lastly, I am surprised with the decent performance – quick boot up time, and applications I use such as office and a few engineering programs run very well.

A good buy.

it’s just a little thing, but when you lose it and need it – it becomes a big deal. I researched the web and found just what I was looking for at Amazon – last place I expected to find it. It arrived in good time, and Amazon offered it for 5.00 cheaper than other sites!
