One of the ads proclaimed, “44k of RAM included!”. I feel redundant saying it, but this iPod touch has more computing power in its clever earbud/microphone combo than one of the original Macs.

Even without the comparison to antiques, this handheld computer is phenomenal. Easy-to-use interface, fast processing, and capabilities that match any laptop (wireless internet, touchpad QWERTY keyboard, and stunning graphics). The ever-increasing portfolio of applications designed for the iPod Touch and iPhone will make this device a good investment for a long time.

The competition has already produced devices with larger screens and the battery life could be better, but the iPod touch holds its own.
