I loved the character of Jacob when he was ninety or ninety-three. He has been there, done that as he reflects on his life on a depression era circus train. When I think of Water for Elephants, I don’t see 23 year old Jacob and Marlena and the circus gang, I see this old man who still stands up for his rights, mainly his right to live his life as he sees fit. The whole story is developing this one character – You go 90-something-year-old Jacob – enjoy!!
Rosemary was another character I enjoyed – so patient, so sincerely understanding.
My main issue with the book – Water for Elephants – not the title I would have chosen. A great title but I don’t feel that the book reflected the significance needed for that name. As I was reading, I kept expecting something to exhibit “Water for Elephants” besides McGuinty.
This read was chosen for my book club and what a fun book to plan a party around, would definitely recommend this book to friends, family and fellow book clubbers out there.

Had a hard time getting the Wii Fit balance board I wanted for Wii Fit excersice program. Finally got one!! Enjoy the programs and am on the “weigh down” with my weight. Very enjoyable using all the programs that I am able to do now, looking forward to adding more exercise forms for advanced as I progress. Been using it almost every day.

My husband and I are in our 60’s and were introduced to the WII at our daughter’s and son-in-law’s this past Christmas. We really had fun playing the games and working with WII-FIT, so that’s what I wanted for my 60th birthday in February. We’re still have a great time and amazed at how much exercise it can be.

I kept looking until I could find it at the price I wanted. Same for the WII Fit, but it took a little longer to find it at a retail price. Even with the free shipping, I had WII Fit in two days – amazing!

This is an amazing watch! It acquires the satellite signal quickly. I am an avid runner, and the features are great to enhance my training. There are so many options on the watch that I have not yet explored. This has the best heart rate monitor I have used.

This is THE replacement for an essential lens cap. Difficult to find elsewhere and having had issues with another source with respect to getting the “right one” this is a pleasure to have snapped on my camera.If your camera needs a new lens cap go here first!
