It’s Mark Twain good. It’s such an utter delight that I was very happy to listen to repeats of the audio version on my MP3 player, and I am usually in a major rush to get a book read, and find out what happens. This book has a lot happening — but the words, the speakers, are a delight, an utter delight.

I read about two pages, and sent it back to the library, and got the audio version. Usually I don’t care for audio books, but this book’s power is expotentially increase when you hear the voices of the women involved. To read it, to read the flat words on the flat page, is a shadow of what it can be.

The women speak — at length — one at a time. The story unfolds, their characters come to life, and the threads of the story are woven into a delightful fabric. When you read it, you hear your own voice in your head, and lose much. But when you listen to it, of course it’s very clear who is speaking — the voices are so distinct, that soon they become almost friends of yours. You don’t even need to remember the name of the character, because the voices are so distinct and wonderful.

I know its coming out in a movie, but I doubt that medium can do this justice. The women’s THOUGHTS are what are important. And these thoughts are what bounce in your head as you hear them speak. A movie can’t deliver what the audio delivers, surprisingly. I’m sure the movie will be a delight, but much will be necessarily missing, because so much of the magic and tension is delievered in the voice of the speakers.

Get the audio version. My sister loved it so much, she sent out the audio book to family and friends. Once I heard the first chapter, I knew why she did that. You will know too, if you listen to the audio version of this amazing work.

When I used this card in my Canon A3100is PowerShot I noticed no difference in speed than when I used the class 4, 4GB Flash Memory Card. This Flash Memory Card has also worked fine when I took pictures. I just put it into the camera and it worked.

I then put it into my Zino HD (Dell 400)PC and the pictures showed up fine when using Xubuntu (Ubuntu) Operating System and or Microsoft OS. I removed the pictures and then used the Card for Windows Vista ReadyBoost. This card was inexpensive and works fine for me.

I found this Transcend 4GB Class 6 SDHC works better for ReadyBoost than a 4GB HP USB Flash Drive v125w with advertised data transfer rates similar to the Transcend card.
