Conversations with God : An Uncommon Dialogue (Book 1)
I found this book interesting. Contrary to the teachings of The Holy Bible, the author claims that satan is a “myth,” that Jesus was only a great person (no mention of “Savior”), and seemed to imply that the “things written down 2000 years ago” are open to debate. My questions is this: If all these things written 2000 years ago about God and Jesus were true, WHY would God, in “speaking with Mr. Neale Donald Walsch (as he claims)”, suddenly reverse his previous statements about satan, the validity of the Bible, and the absolute sovereignty of Christ?
I am a skeptic, and I like to think I have an open mind. This book was recommended to me by a colleague. However, I could not help but thinking that Mr. Walsch definitely has a “profit motive” in his writings. “If the item sells, continue to write.” Never mind it may be misinformation. Mr. Walsh, I hope you get this “God thing” right- your eternity may depend on it.
Please reference “Evidence that Demands a Verdict,” by Josh McDowell. A professed athiest that became a Christian because of his research. Go figure.
Garmin Nuvi 660 Accessory

I live in the Wash. DC area and we have pretty bad traffic. I normally take a route that isn’t extremely bad but does has congestion. I get no warnings at all.

Also, recently there was a smaller side road (Non-Highway but well used road) that was closed on both directions but had no information on this road. The antenna works but Clear Channels Traffic information sucks.

Sucks really bad. When I check the traffic information, the only information I get is the main large interstate highways.

Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this.

Who knows, maybe the XM traffic service is better but I can honestly tell you Clear Channel Traffic Service SUCKS!

Maybe I’ll get some traffic information traveling on I-95 somewhere…

Neale provides a fresh approach to how we can view God – and how God loves us unconditionally. This is a big change from what many believe today, because the prevailing thought about God is one who loves us but also who judges us. Unconditional love means without conditions – and this is a huge leap for one to take. If you are at least a little open to new thoughts, then this book may be for you.

This is the first of many books written by Neale and they have been translated into many different languages and millions have read his new theology. Neale has dedicated his life to helping those of us who desire to know and experience God in a more loving way. Kudos to Neale!

Garmin Nuvi 200 200W

I couldn’t put this book down! The chemistry between all the characters was amazing! I laughed, cried, and smiled throughout this book. I felt Jacobs sorrow for his parents, his compassion for the animals, and his love for Marlena. This book also makes you appreciate life and makes you appreciate being young and able bodied. Can’t wait to see it in the theater!

This book should be a disgrace to Evangelical Christians. Wouldn’t hurt for others to be offended also. It is so unBiblical in it’s answers.

I was skeptical but thought the idea was worth a try given the affordability. I LOVE this mount! I toss my GPS on the floor when I’m in a questionable area (for security) and easily moved it into a rental car. I love that I no longer have it mounted on the windshield interfering with my view of other traffic and it has yet to slip and slide a millimeter. (And I don’t drive like an old Granny, either!) I drive a Cadillac Escalade, so the dashboard is pretty flat and that probably helps. Already thinking about getting one for my husband’s car too. I thinks it’s a wonderful product and it has lasted the entire summer without losing any of it’s non-slip grip.

I have owned so many different pedeometers and been totally disappointed with the performance. The Omron HJ-112 is the BEST pedometer I have ever owned. The product keeps accurate steps and has not broke down (which my other products did within a month of use). I would recommend this pedometer to everyone!! If you want to read about God … as in Christian God, go to the Bible. If you want a book that will make you feel good about all your choices and that will avoid anything that might “offend” you for making bad choices, this is your book. This book is basically the opinion of the author about what his god would say about particular actions and/or situations. If you’re looking for a “feel good” not too committal or deep regard for Christian values, this is your book. If you want something more legit…that speaks truthfully about the word of God, again, go to the Bible. This book finds ways to justify any action you make as “okay” and without serious consequence. The title is a bit deceiving.
