I was reluctant to purchase the Amazon Kindle. It was a lot of money and I had heard some horror stories about these E-Books. However I took a chance and I am most happy that I did. It is amazingly simple to use and ordering books is a snap. The only objection I have is occasionally the price of an e-book is higher than a paperback book, especially one from Wal-Mart. Outside of that I thoroughly enjoy my Kindle. I have read 4 novels so far and have been extremely happy with the ease of reading. I can enlarge the type so I can read without my glasses and narrow the number of words per line making reading faster than with a standard book. I had to purchase this pedometer because I lost my previous one and was going crazy not knowing how much exercise I was getting. If I get home and see that I haven’t done much walking during the day, it spurs me to go take a walk in the evening. If I have exceeded my daily goal by a certain amount, I allow myself a treat (something with more calories than I would normally let myself eat).
I like that this model remembers my stats for a week, so that if I have a day where I don’t meet my target number of steps, I can still see if I’m averaging my goal for the week. It tracks “aerobic steps” – if you walk faster than a certain rate for more than 10 minutes. When I looked at past days on the old one, it would only show the number of aerobic steps and not the time spent walking aerobically. This one shows both, and for that statistic I am more interested in the time than the steps, so I appreciate this feature. The distance calculation works when I’m walking on level ground, but I spend a lot of time hiking in the mountains, and I take the distance with a grain of salt then, because I tend to take shorter strides on steep climbs. If you really want to track distance and don’t always walk on level ground, you probably need something more sophisticated.
I haven’t noticed if it’s the case with this one, but the only complaint I had about my old one, which was a previous version of this one, was that if I was moseying along at a particularly leisurely pace, it didn’t always register my steps.

It’s the kind of novel you won’t be able to set down even after the last page. It will haunt your thoughts and you will have to buy the sequels. It’s the modern Romeo and Juliet, but so much easier to read.

Edward Cullen, though entirely a fantasy character which is the point considering he is a vampire, is the “ideal” dream boy, nearly every girl’s fantasy for true love and romance. My only fear with the wide popularity of this novel is that girls may gain unrealistic expectations in dating and marriage, forever looking for their own Edward Cullen, who is an unrealistic personality type in real life. That thought aside, I highly recommend Twilight for pure rapturous entertainment.

I had a regular scale which only gave me whole pounds. One day I would weigh 140, the next I would weigh 141. Did I gain a pound? No. I actually weighed 140.8 the first day and 141.2 the next. With this scale I can see exactly how much I weigh, which is encouraging to me since I have lost 137 pounds so far, and the weight is coming off more slowly now that I am nearing my goal.
Love the design, it is a very sleek, nice looking scale (oh and easy to keep clean). The numbers are not large or thick enough for me to see without glasses on – but I am far from having 20/20 vision. I like that the number flashes to tell you your weight is done. You can then get off the scale and look at it more closely. My sister (who does not wear glasses) can clearly see the numbers easily, so for you who are not vision-impaired – not a problem.
I would highly recommend this scale to anyone – especially if you are trying to lose weight. It is encouraging to see any weight loss – even if it is less than one pound – to know you are still losing! I wish I had bought this a long time ago!

Well, I don’t own this product, I buy it for a friend and I tested it for him. I’m not a nintendo fan, but I really like this console, everything is brand new, works well, a it has a lot of fun.

If you have children or you want a simple a nice game system, buy it!

I don’t recommend the Canadian version of the kindle AT ALL – the selection is far too limited. One of the features that attracted me to this product was that you can get best sellers before they are in paperback, but I had no idea how limited the selection was. In Canada you can’t even get the best sellers when they are in paperback! As avid readers, we already have OLD many best sellers, we’d like to get the current ones.

I’ve tried out numerous pedometers over the years, but this one is by far the most accurate and the best I have worn. I clip it on every day and it counts my steps, my aerobic steps, and my calories burned. It’s very accurate. I did a lot of research on pedometers before making this purchase, and this was the one that kept coming up as ideal. It has not let me down. The ownly downfall is how big it is. Thankfully my bosses don’t mind this attached to my pocket. Recommended!
