TB 1 eGo Iomega suck

I wanted an external hard drive that has a power on switch.. The power switch is a great addition to an external hard drive because I can switch it off when not necessary. I use this drive only for backups and I schedule auto backups for a particular time of the week. It comes with the USB 2 cable. An optional eSATA interface could have been helpful for faster file transfer.

It is NTFS formatted for Windows OS but I also wanted to use it on Mac so I reformatted it to FAT 32 and it works well on both my machines. Although there are Trend Micro internet security, Iomega quikProtect, EMC Retrospect, and MozyHome online backup service, u can pick what you need from the site. I needed Trend Micro and EMC. So far this has been a properly working, much-less-noise and a not-overheating hrd drive.

Addario D Helicore 1 for you

I looked everywhere for this and was so happy when I found it here on Amazon. It’s nice to revisit an old favorite while driving down the road, giving me a great alternative to the garbage that’s on the radio. It was a little expensive but it is worth it for this hard to find gem.

I took about 500 photos and 15 minutes of video, and used under 3 GB. It will take me a long time before I need to delete anything off of this card.

1 Farewell Eagles Tour talk

Just got finished watching this, and I came away once again very impressed with the pure muscianship and attention to production. These guys are known perfectionists and it shows. Some say their live performances sound too much like the records, but on this one they spice it up a little more than on Hell Freezes Over, though there aren’t many cool acoustic ones like on that DVD. This one is less stiff than HFO too. Don Felder is missing on this one (out of the band since ‘01), but the guy filling in does a OK job, though it’s just not the same on Hotel California. I thought the best performance was Walsh’s Funk #49. It demands to be rocked LOUD in DTS. As with HFO, the recording quality is superb with DTS as the only surround option (just as HFO & Henley’s DVD). The Eagles do this as DTS is better than Dolby as it uses less compression, and they can increase the video resolution when the Dolby track is left off. In fact, I think this DVD sets the standard in sound quality for live mixes. I have the Hotel California DVD-Audio, and the mix and realism sounds better here due to more available tracks to mix from and it utilizes higher resolution digital recording (though nothing can touch the resolution on a DVD-Audio or SACD). Overall, there’s more songs, and it’s more of a rockin’ set than HFO. Frey & Schmit look great while Henley, and especially Walsh, are starting to show their age (was that Hermes pajama bottoms Walsh was wearing?). Though Walsh’s voice sounds the freshest. If you like great music, buy this. If you have a great sound system, buy this, as it will really show it off and make you glad you spent the big bucks. As a last note, the Eagles share my passion for wine. When their manager, Irving Azoff, shared some Lafite Rothschild with them in 1974, they began putting in their tour contracts that first growth Bordeaux would be in their dressing rooms. Some may say that this is a primadona request, but I can’t think of a better perk.

Details about Series High 1 Vivitar

I’ve used this SD card for several weeks now and it’s worked as advertised. The card has been used primarily in an HD video camera recording in 1080p, so it was important for it to have a fast transfer rate. I haven’t had any issues with the card. It’s been very reliable!

Wow! 6 KitchenAid 2 1

I got this mostly for the fact that it has Nike+ built in. But I LOVE my iPod touch. 32gb is the PERFECT size for me, I have tons of room to do what I want on it, the apps are great, and I got a REALLY great price on Amazon. This is my 2nd iPod touch, I had a first gen and wasn’t that impressed with what they offered for it. The only real way was to jailbreak it back then, but now with the app store you have tons free apps and nicely done paid apps. My favorite one right now being the “kindle” you can have on it! The one thing I was kind of disappointed about is the speaker isn’t very loud at all. It was on the first gen, but this ones seems to be on the quiet side. Other then that I just love it. I will probably keep this one until the day it stops working!

Deer 1 Hunting Deer problem!

This is a good book about the circus (a comment I never thought I would ever make). Jacob’s story is heartbreakingly sympathetic. Ms. Gruen’s mastery of the circus vocabulary really sets the stage for the plotline. A remarkable amount of reseach went into writing circus lore. This is no Barnum and Bailey’s Greatest Show on Earth. This is a downtrodden, edging ever closer to disaster circus run by the same type of people. I must admit I had to skip anything that resembled animal cruelty (although I am sure it is factual). My inability to deal with this led to my giving the book only 4 stars. A reflection on the reviewer more than on the book.

ECONOMICAL:
This is an inexpensive vacuum that gets the job done. It does not have all the bells and whistles, which for me means less that can break down. I had been looking for a decent vacuum that wasn’t over priced. Consumer Reports had done vacuum reviews and placed this among the better upright vacuums you can buy. I was really looking for something with power and the ability take care of cat hair. I decided to purchase this and I got what I paid for and more. The vacuum indeed has the power and ability to get up animal hair with ease. I vacuumed every room and then looked in the bag. It picked up so much particulate and animal hair, big improvement over the more expensive vacuum cleaner I once had. Ya, it doesn’t have a bag indicator or a head light, but my old vacuum had those and I never used them(indicator accuracy was questionable). The vacuum is light weight and easy to push (big help for my back). It has a secondary and final filter, both helpful in keeping the motor safe and returning clean air into the room.

BELT WORRIES:
My big worry when buying this was the complaints about the belt breaking. No such occurrences for me. I have used this vacuum extensively, no belt damage has occurred. Huge tip for those with this problem or those who are wanting to buy this vacuum –The height adjustment on the vacuum is there for a reason. Do not put it on the bare floor setting and vacuum a shag carpet. You will destroy the belt and cause premature wear on the motor and/or other components. In my case, I adjusted the brush height so that the vacuum just barely crawls when on and the brush is lowered. This lets you know it is loosening up the dirt and not trying to dig a hole in the carpet. If the vacuum is pulling you along, this is an indicator that the brush is too low. Also, try not to run over clothes or the edges of throw rugs for this can also cause belt damage or breakage. Simply put, adjust the agitator brush to the height that the job requires.
