In the book Artemis fights wars with fairies and triumphs with trolls. As the fairy captain trys to get out of Artemis’s cages and traps, the fairies do all they can to stop Artmis, including trying to blow him up with a bomb.
You will love this book! It is breath taking and it will be like watching a movie from the details Eoin Colfer gives. After every chapter comes a cliff hanger and after every page you read comes a feeling like the book is telling you to read on.

It follows a similar structure to Pokemon, following Hasuka’s rise to the top in the Angelic Layer tournament. The Angelic Layer is a virtual reality game where two players enter their angel dolls into a ring and using their minds to control the dolls to fight each other. With her Angel, Hikaru (Japanese for “light”), she fights to win the tournament. Her two friends support her, as well as contenders for the title who she defeated along the way.

Angelic Layer, however, adds an excellent twist to the monster-fighting genre. Misaki and the other characters learned not just to compete, but to also enjoy the game and have fun. Rather than follow the typical shonen theme that the most powerful character may win, Misaki learns that will and determination leads to success. This is an extremely empowering series, where the characters learn to overcome their failures and work hard.

Along the way, the backstory on the origin of the game leads to an amazing scientific twist, in which the dolls were intended to be controlled as prosthetics for physically disabled people. Hasuka’s missing mom also makes a compelling twist to the story, appearing only to watch her daughter play and never actually meeting her.

This series has amazing depth that the Pokemon series never reached. Angelic Layer is exciting, intense, and visually stunning. Studio “Bones” handled the animation, and the fluid, fast-paced fight sequences are amazingly entertaining. All the angel fighters have special abilities that make the fights more intense. I also appreciated that there was no gore and bloody to turn people off. This is a series for everyone.

Although this series isn’t the most popular anime in Japan, it should have been. This is one of the best series I have ever seen.

First of all, I am an avid reader, but mostly of biographies. Occasionally I get bored and want to sink my teeth into (no pun intended) a good piece of fiction. There are book lovers at my dentist office. Mostly we discuss Harry Potter, but on more than on occasion, people were mentioning the “Twilight” books. My dentist said that when his wife started reading these books she kind of neglected the family for awhile, such was her passion for devouring them. I like the idea of reading a “saga” of books; Lord knows I adored Harry Potter. When I read in an advertisement for the “Twilight” books ‘Move over Harry Potter’, I decided to put the lot of them on my Amazon Wish List. Once I started reading the first book “Twilight”, it was like it took over my life. I took the book everywhere so I could read it as much as possible. I read it on the bus, before I punched in at work, my lunch hour, in between caring for my son, etc. I usually take a long time to finish reading a book. Well, I finished ALL FOUR books in the saga within about two weeks! This is utterly unheard of for me. Secondly, I never want to re-read a book. I used to do that when I read books as a child, but I guess now that I’m older I feel like life’s too short and I should move on to the next book. Well, I am now reading the first book for the third time! The critical point to the appeal of this book is the central character, Edward Cullen. If he was a human you would say, “What a beautiful human being he is, inside and out!” But, he is forever a 17 year old vampire. Because he was actually born in 1901, he has a lovely way of speaking- genteel, knowledgeable and respectful. The dialogue in this book is delicious, riveting and oh, so satisfying. This is an incredible, old-fashioned love story which just happens to include a vampire. If you read this book, you will fall in love with Edward too-

The clips hold the iphone well during a normal walk, but if you run upstairs , not fast that fast, it pops out.
The plastic clear screen makes iphone screen less bright, not to much to bother, but it’s evident when you are used to have it with the case, and then had it removed, you can tell the difference.
As for the oil effect, I tried the powder solution, which didn’t worke at all.
I found a very efficient solution, you just need Windex and some kitchen towels, you can use costco’s Kirkland. You just wipe both iphone screen and cover inner screen, let it dry for 3-5 minutes. I have not had a oil/sticky screen effect for several weeks. Give it a try.
I’d buy it again, since I have not seen any case this robust in the market so far.

If I were a real reviewer I’d probably cite various long standing references to Matthew Barney’s past work, and that oh what a provocative innovative artist he is and isn’t he so fabulous, etc, etc… I’ve heard all the yuppies talk about this cat like he’s the God of Art Noir. Where ever he got the cultural acceptance to do what he does in film, is a mystery, this stuff is wierd, man it’s WIERD. David Lynch has got nothing on this bloke. The whole of Cremaster 3 centers around a Mason initiation process, uh in the Chrystler building…sort of. Anyway, don’t bother with the plot, it’s so chaotic, and ridiculous, that it’ll make your head hurt. And speaking of film inducing migraines, the entire movie is scored by a cacophony of metal whines and screams, that will leave you banging your head against the tv to make it stop. So what is this movie good for? Style. Man this movie has style. Mr. Barney has a full impact car derby in the lobby of the Chystler building, it’s evil. This movie leaves a mark that a doctor can’t get rid of. So what is this particular excerpt about? uh, well, this actual excerpt plays like bad Monty Python skit, and it’ll leave you wondering what the whole point is. Well? there isn’t any ;it’s totally pointless. It’s eye candy, it’s wierd, funny, boring, and bloody. Somebody’s got to make this stuff. Right?

I can see how the younger crowd flocked to this book — the idea of love is fresh and new for them now. Bella’s character was exasperating, her clumsiness is unreal. And how is it sexy to kiss a cold dead body? I did love the way Edward felt a call to protect her — most women want that, or I do, at least. People who like this book would really like Renee Mincey’s “Love of Pure Evil”, even though Ms. Mincey’s book may be for a more mature crowd.
