We used this on vacation and it was so nice to put it on the dash.
I have a Mini Van and used to put the GPS on the windshield, then
to check or change the screen, you have to reach and can be dangerous.
This is very convenient when changing the screen, with-in arms reach.
Easy to put away and no marks on your windshield. Love it so glad I
bought it, you will not regret it.

Our Eureka Altima was falling and cracking apart after 3 years of usage. I read a very favorable review from Consumer Reports and saw this on Amazon. I’m very pleased with its performance and features. I used to like the visual aspect of seeing the bin fill up on non-baggged vacs; but after using this unit for a few weeks now, that’s not an issue. I do like the red indicator on the front of the unit to give me an idea when the bag needs to be replaced. The headlight on the unit is very bright compared to other vacs we’ve used. It helps in the darker corners and other areas such as beneath coffee tables etc. It seems a touch quiter than our old Eureka. I feel we’ll continue to use Hoover products from here on out.

To the point:

Pros:
Excellent at picking up dog hair from bare floors, rugs.
Not too heavy, very maneuverable, easy to carry around and to store
Excellent price

Cons:
Air blows out of left side and makes you work a little harder in hallways and near walls
Hose mode not very easy to use, some tools fall out of their storage place
Changing bags is a bit tricky
Does not go under furniture (problematic because hose and wand feature is not easy to use)

Overall it is a good product. Problems are not difficult to overcome. If cord is short or I want to minimize plugins I use 16 foot extension cord. For under furniture that cannot be moved easily, I use the Hoover brand small cannister type vac that I bought 27 years ago. Hoover is a good brand.

Nice to see MS offer a package for Home and Student. This makes it affordable (3 licenses per copy) and will tie more users to MS products.

Interesting note: Received MS Office 2010 Beta the same day as 2007 arrived. A touch more improvement.

The old Microsoft Office was the best and the easy to use. Most of the changes that were made seem to have come from the people they use in the commercials about Windows 7 that come across like novices and gamers. I suggest staying with the old office until it is no longer supported.

So there are thousands upon thousands of reviews of the Kindle 2 available on Amazon and elsewhere throughout the web, some great, some so-so, some poor. Let’s start off with the arrival of the product. Amazon packages it in a wonderfully small and eco-friendly box which I would recommend keeping just in case one would need to return the Kindle for repairs or other reasons. It also arrived two days after it was ordered, which to me is as fast as you can expect from any company that primarily conducts business on the internet. It was so easy to get started with the device that my five year old niece picked it up and was the first one to turn it on.

The functionality of the device is self-explanatory without having to read any manuals. The device starts out on a home screen that gives the user access to the Kindle User’s Guide, which gives a good starting point on both the basic and advanced features the Kindle 2 offers. After 30 minutes or so of reading this guide, one can go from a Kindle novice to an informed user capable of finding a use for all of the features of the device, including some useful shortcuts. It is well written and very comprehensive.

The battery charged to full in a little under an hour, and since purchasing the device a month ago, I have found the need to charge it only once. This is with the device’s Whispernet (3G service provided by Amazon at no additional charge) service turned off unless I am specifically searching the Kindle Store for an item. I recently bought a Garmin GPS, and I knew that I would dislike using the suction cups that come with my GPS. I shopped around and found the friction mount. I put it on the dashboard of my car, and pop on my GPS, just like I would on the suction cup, and I’m good to go. You can adjust the angle, and the friction mount does not move at all. I would recommend this product to anyone as an excellent alternative to the standard suction cup.

I took an instant dislike to the title character, and the more I read, the less I liked him. It is easy to see the appeal to a certain age group: the kid is smart, he has resources, and he has his own private goon squad to sic on anyone who displeases him. The author has created a sociopathic little monster with the moral compass of a pit viper. Great role model for the younger set! Every once in a while, the author tries to insert something to make us like Artemis better. He loves his mommy – so have most of the serial killers in real life. Now and then he questions (sort of) what he is doing, then he goes ahead and does it anyways. His victims in the first book are the fairies, and I give the author credit for a nice take on the little people – I was rooting for them all the way. If it hadn’t been for this imaginative portrayal, I would have been looking for a way to give this book a negative star rating. The story is well written, which makes the subject matter even more appalling. I will not be purchasing any more books in the series.

For those of you who some how think that u need to spend $50-$100 for these hdmi cables, YOU are dead wrong. I bought a VIZIO 26′ 1080p HDTV for my room, and it works just as well if I spent the super bucks. Ima college student that loves tech and video games, so for a cheap price as this it was perfect for me. When connected to my Xbox 360 it supports the Full 1080p and I can connect my Dell inspiron 1525 with the HDMI cable to my Vizio and it uupgrades my 720 Laptop to the full 1080p! Dont spend the Retail price buy this online!!!!!

The product deserved 5 stars. The customer service by amazon deserved minus 5. I ordered it on a Friday and after 6 to 10 calls I receive it three weeks later after writing to the better business bureau. Amazon still has not aplogize for the amount of work it took me to get this product.
