No matter how many times I read this book, I am drawn in by the imagination, the creativity, and the enchantment of the tale of Artemis Fowl. The first in a set of five books, I resisted the lure of a 12-yr-old criminal-mastermind for a while, thinking the book too silly for my age. Now I run to the store the moment a new book in this series appears.
Artemis Fowl has a plan to gain back the money his father lost when he disappeared a year ago. Aided by Butler, his body guard, Artemis devises a plan to steal gold from the fairies. Young enough to still believe in magic, but old enough to construct a devious scheme, few could pull off what Artemis is about to do.
Our fairy heroine, Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon Unit, is the test case for allowing female elves to join the Lower Elemental Police recon unit, and she has been having a very bad week. After being attacked by a troll, she attempts to carry out the ritual to recharge her magic, but instead is captured by Artemis and Butler, thus beginning the hostage crisis.
Filled with interesting characters and an excellent usage of magic and technology, Artemis Fowl is a book that readers of any age should enjoy. My favorite part is how Colfer integrates magic and technology, instead of ignoring one in favor of the other, like so many urban fantasy writers do. Instead, Foaly, the centaur super-genius, uses technology to shield magic from human scanners and stay one step ahead of the Mud People.
The book is rich with detail that will keep the reader coming back. It’s been a few years since I last read the book, and I was amazed at how many things I didn’t remember and how I was still enthralled by the action. Even my roommate, who tends to feel that she is above reading “children’s” books, eagerly reads every new Artemis Fowl.
With the release of The Lost Colony, right now is the perfect time to pick up a copy of this classic and reread it. Then continue on to The Artic Incident, The Eternity Code, The Opal Decep

On Play Deluxe Air ok or not
If you. like me, are hard on things this is your case. Also fits the bill if you have bigger hands. The 3GS to me is like trying to hold onto a small wet bar of soap in the shower. I needed something to hold on to and protect it against the inevitable drop. Well engineered case. Perfect size for me. My wife has small hands and found it manageable. She said it would work for her if she needed this level of protection.
Pros:
1. Excellent protection from dirt, falls, moisture etc.
2. Access to all ports and functions.
3. Good belt clip.
Cons:
1. Bubbles under screen protector.
2. Pain to take off and put back on.
3. Not much color selection.
If you are chasing style, forget it. If you enjoy outdoor activities or work, sports etc. it is indispensable. Not a case to remove frequently. I got an anti-glare screen protector and the bubbles disappeared and the view is excellent. I use the headset or bluetooth so I can’t address sound issues. I give this a 10 on a scale of 1 to 5!

Do you really like Capacity of Equivalent Hi ?
I got the case because it looked like it would give great protection for the phone. I love to mountain bike so I thought this would be a great case and would also use it for everyday use.
Now as far as protecting the phone, yes it most certainly gets the job done, but with many trade offs. First strike against this case is the horrible screen protector “oil slick” effect problem. It is very distracting and is really a shame that it takes away from the nice screen of the iPhone. This is the number one reason I can’t stand this case. It is recommended by the company to apply baby powder to the screen. I for one am not going apply baby powder as suggested to an electronic device to get rid of this effect. I can’t imaging this would be good long term.
I have also tried application of an anti-glare screen protector to the iPhone screen but also diminishes the screen quality. Why not make the built in screen protector out of the anti-glare material to begin with and spare everybody the trouble of having to install an additional protector that we would have to buy.
Strike two is the super sticky material the outer cover is made of. It is an incredible lint, dust and tiny little granules that I didn’t even realize I had in my pocket magnet. Literally, this case would pack up with lint into every crevice. I only kept in my jacket which has a lined cellphone pocket. I would pull the phone out and the thing just looked horrible. I hated looking at it. It was not the sleek thin iPhone anymore but a thick chunky fur covered oil slicked mess. I also took the phone out to inspect it after a weekend of use and there were dust and lint inside of the case as well and all around the phone. I have no idea how it gets in there!
Strike three are the crazy little tabs covering the switches and ports. They would keep popping out and snagging on things. Those little tabs that also keep the outer rubber skin on the plastic part of the case would randomly pop out. Th

About Gadd Series Steve Master
This is an exceptional DVD, but like every thing about Steve Gadd, it’s hard to “put a finger” on the exact reason. Perhaps it’s because you can’t help but like this true master who is unbelievably humble. Perhaps it’s because his drumming ALWAYS sounds so great, even his “simple” stuff sounds fabulous. ESPECIALLY his simple stuff sounds great (how does he do it?). Maybe it’s the way he make everything look so easy…. total effortlessness. Perhaps only about 1/2 of this DVD includes any playing from Steve (though there is more in the extra features section), the rest is a question answer session with the audience. I’m an instructional DVD junkie. Of about 18 DVDs on drums and percussion, this will be on the top shelf. Great inspiration and just plain enjoyment watching this “one-of-a-kind” drummer.

Topps # 2003 612 happy
I read this during banned book week. I had not read it before, but it’s a classic. And hey, I wanted to see what could be so bad in it to ban it.
Hoo boy! Did I ever figure out. This book was obviously banned for being the single most boring book ever written. Or perhaps the incidence of boredom induced coma was so high, they felt the need to ban it. I don’t know. But I never did see anything horrible or even questionable in this book – nevermind interesting.
I’m sure people will comment about what a great piece of work this is. To them, I say “meh”

CBS November Evening News OK?
It is perfect. You can do, wherever you want. My favorite applications are weather, calender and of course the wi-fi. The sound quality is amazing!. It is shade, that it does not have a camera. Otherwise would be even better. I recommend it!
